Dear colleagues,

The Division of Public Policy (PPOL) of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is currently inviting applications for the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2023-2024.

Our research centers around three areas: 1. Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy; 2. Energy, Environmental, and Sustainability Policy, and 3. Social and Urban Policy. We would particularly welcome those interested in exploring the policy implications of emerging technologies for addressing sustainability challenges, including climate change and the circular economy.

The fellowship provides an annual stipend of HKD325,200 (approx. USD41,430) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HKD13,600 (approx. USD1,730) per year.

Applications are open until December 1, 2022. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you very much.

Best regards,
